Vets - we need a Long Term Locum Vet, a Permanent Full Time Vet and ideally a dedicated Night Duty Vet,

We are currently looking for an experienced locum to cover maternity leave until at least January 2018. Our practice is currently expanding, and it is very possible that this will become a permanent role for the right candidate. In addition we need a full time permanent vet now, to increase the team from eleven vets to twelve .

Please click HERE for a document with details of our practice, facilities, etc., together with details of working hours. We are utterly committed to doing our own out of hours cover, and the post would include a share of OOH work. This is currently 1 part-weekend in 4, and maybe a weekday night duty if you end up with the lightest of the three weekend duty options.

If you are interested in either of these roles, please email your CV with covering note to

We are also looking for a vet to cover three Night Duties a week (possibly Sunday nights, + 2 regular weekday nights but that is up for discussion), with a possibility of extra work to cover holidays, etc. Please click HERE for a document which will be of interest regarding our practice, but the precise details of this job description will be different, of course. We can provide overnight accommodation at the surgery for anyone who lives more than 20 minutes' drive away.

If you are interested, please email your CV with covering note to

Nurses - we need a Night Duty Nurse and a Part-Time Weekend Shift Nurse

We are looking for Qualified Veterinary Nurses to help us out with night duties and weekend shifts. This could possibly be one full-time combined job or two separate jobs.

If you are interested in this veterinary nursing position (and actively looking for, what some would call "anti-social hours"!) please email your CV with covering note to or phone Sarah (Head Nurse) at the surgery on 01491 574490 for more information and an informal chat.
