I graduated from Nottingham University and joined Henley
in October 2011. I thoroughly enjoyed all my training and
was very lucky to be one of the first graduates from the new
Nottingham Vet School. With brand new facilities and modern
and practical ways of teaching I was well prepared for practice.
During my studies I found the time to travel and spent a
month at a neutering clinic in Langkawi, Malaysia. Most of
the patients here were feral cats, so Im pretty nifty
at giving cat tablets! I also went to Thailand and stayed
at the elephant nature park helping the vet there provide
medical care to rescued elephants. The best part of the day
was socialising or rather just playing with the
very cute baby elephants.
In my free time I go trampolining or spend time walking my
very energetic chocolate cocker spaniel Sam. He never gets
tired, pulls on the lead and has awful recall but I still
think he is the best dog of the world
.90% of the time!
